For the most, part XviD and .avi might be inferior but show me a x264 .mp4 or .mkv that can be played on a PS3, XBox or on any dvd/bluray player with a flash drive input. Nothing against you, but you just hit a sore subject. Now that is why you see XviD/avi more than videos with the x264 codec or .mkv or .mp4 extension. maybe one day people will start making sytems & dvd/bluray players that play all formats but until then XviD/avi's will be here to stay

no complaints here...they are inferior in the bit rate compartment but who the fck cares...?? Like you said, blu ray and the consoles will always be harder to play pirated copies so get use to it...like said above avi and xvid are gonna be here for a while yet...
